‘Words for the Wild’ publishes my ‘Carnlough Bay’

Very excited to see my poem ‘Carnlough Bay’ on the ‘Words for the Wild’ website today. Last summer I went back to County Antrim in Northern Ireland, close to where I grew up, and found these words coming to me about how it has felt to live by the sea and away from it. I read it in Top Hat & Tales in Faversham recently and watched it resonate with seaside folk there too. Oddly for me, it’s not in 17 syllables!

I’ve just updated the Poems page here (via Publications) to gather online publication of my poems in one place in case you fancy a browse.

Very many thanks, Becky. Much appreciated! Sorry not to reply sooner but I’m away with very sporadic wifi at the minute.
