This Thursday, Words on Waves ay Harbour Books features a showcase by Thanet publisher WHISKY AND BEARDS.

We’ll hear Philip Kane read from his new book (kindly stepping in on behalf of Angela Dye), Sam Rapp – ‘the dyslexic poet’, Alex Vellis and Connor Sansby, the publisher himself.

We’ll also have the chance to enjoy hearing prize-winning poet Rosemary McLeish, thriller writer Vicky Newham’s mix of poetry and prose, and poets Sarah Jenkin and Setareh Franklin (was Ebrahimi).

The lovely Words on Waves staff at Harbour Books start to pour the Prosecco at 6.45pm for a 7pm start. Tickets are only £3 each and I’ll be hosting as usual. See you there!
